so I lovedthis teeshirt, but after years of wear, tear, and well, puberty, i hadnt been able to wear it but havent been able to throw it out either. so inspired by the book 'tease' and by my new addiction to craftster, i tried it out.

didnt have a 'before' pic, but it was the color of the shade with orange ringers around the sleeves and collar.

the 'tease' way was to cut out the image, and sew it on to a different tee, but loving the color too much, i just tried to freeball it, if you will, and cut the collar & sleeve rings, and sewed them along the top for a cleaner, more pro edge.

its on a eiffel tower lamp, and i just sewed the shirt (it was too thin to survive on its own!) over the original shade, which was white, bland and boring.

hope ya like it, i'm a long time viewer, first time poster!

I could see how you couldn't part with the shirt! The design is so cute. I would have never thought of covering a lampshade. I love it!

Woodstock on the Eiffel Tower!  I love it!  That's an awesome way to recycle a shirt-- I will have to remember that!
