I fell into total and utter love with this one capelet on the Metamorphose Gothic And Lolita store site...The problem is that I can't afford that price and I don't want it in pink...I can figure everything but the edging, any ideas?

I think the edging looks crocheted.  I would crochet the flowers first, then a 'netting' to join them in a strip to the bottom of your capelet.  Last I would do the bottom part with the picot edge on shells.

good luck with that; it's really pretty!

I agree with snowsculpture about the bottom.  The top looks knitted in a simple diamond lattice pattern, I would think you could google a pattern for that or something.  It also looks like they seamed the back, and not well at that.  If I were making one, I wouldn't do that.  Good luck!

Thanks to both of you!!

I know about the seam in the back, I had plans on making it sort of one piece so that it looked nicer.

Also looks like I've got to be extra nice to my crocheting mother...
