Sometimes I'll get a friends request from little crafty shops on Myspace, or I'll get added/get a comment on Livejournal.  What do you guys do when you get that?  I'd like to show my support for the venture, but at the same time I never intend to buy anything from them (bit skint, lol), so would me adding them back just be expressing false interest?

NO, it isn't.  People looking at your profile will look at your friends and possibly go to their page.  It is free advertising for them to be on as many pages as possible, and even if you don't buy anything, they get the word out just a bit farther.  I add them if I like what they do, or if they are very talented doing something that may not be my style, but I can see that what they make is good quality(i.e., country style stuff or something.).

Yeah... just my two cents.  Cheesy
