Could there be a better crafty combination?!

I have so many great red vintage buttons I need to think of some good color combinations to make use of them. The standard red and black is going to bore me real quick.

Any ideas on new red+ combos? This is my take on red and blue. It's a super long necklace that can be worn in several variations and as a bracelet.

Thanks! It's my favorite of the crochet necklaces I've done so far.

Your necklace/bracelet is really pretty! I don't know how I missed this post.  I've been experimenting with mixing crochet with jewelry--it's so fun.
How about red and brown? A little boring, but pretty and good for fall.

Lovely creation  Smiley
My favourite colors to go with red are white, orange, brown, purple, pink, blue, green (very christmasy), or what about yellow (something like mustard yellow)  Cheesy

Hi! Lovely work denika :-)
One of my favourite time-wasting activities is messing around with colour tools online. If you do a google search on "free color palette tools online" or something like that you should find heaps of pages to help you play around with colour combos, like this for instance:
http://www.alvit.de/web-dev/color-tools-mixers-palettes.html

Oh, and another of my other favourite time wasting activities at the moment is playing around with buttons. Must find a crochet hook and some cotton...

Cheers,
Miriam
