so i am helping to throw a baby shower for my friend this sunday, i made a baby sock bouquet and a diaper bear.  I think they both turned out pretty cute.

I like them, very unique! I love decorations that are also useful. At my SIL's shower we also hung a clothes line up and hung up some of the baby's clothes for everyone to see. Worked great, then everyone wasn't touching the baby's stuff! lol SIL is a little bit germaphobic when it comes to her DD.  Wink

how did you make the arms, legs & ears stay?

i wrapped the diapers in the ribbons, which i overlapped and stuck together with doublestick tape.  Then i hot glued the bear together on the ribbons.  hope that helps!

That is so cool. I'm trying to co-throw a baby shower where the other "thrower" doesn't want to decorate or do anything like that all. I'm kind of bummed, because coming up with awsome decorations and making a place adorable is (for me) the funest part. I might have to some simple decorating anyway and the sock boquet would be awesome. (The mom's doing cloth diapers that she's making herself otherwise the diaper bear would be awesome as well.)
