Okay I didn't make this but I had to show it off.  This is a work in progress, going on for years now.  My boys love it and so do their friends when they come over.

Guess I should explain this is in my boys room.  When they express an interest in a character my husband gets to work on it.  So we can kind of view it as a timeline of sorts too.  Now my oldest son draws his own ideas for the room too.  We figure when we move we will take lots of pictures to keep it with us!

Yeah Comments!!!  He'll be so happy now!  Goofy guy...  Yes that is He-man, no She-ra b/c the boys didn't want a girl on their wall.  Yes he freehands the designs.  I don't draw so I love watching him sketch them out then paint it in.  I did slightly color in the Buzz Lightyear alien though!

oh man, earthworm jim!

this is looking great. i really like that is a progressive piece instead of all at once. i think its a lot more commemorative in that aspect. tell your hubby that he is doing a great job, and doing very well by my childhood (into adulthood) icons.
