So I bought this beautiful vintage fabric from a local thrift store about 6 months ago.  I knew I wanted to make a bag, but I decided to wait until my skill level rose to the point where I wouldn't botch it too badly.  I love the way it turned out!  I even took the time to topstitch the handles so they look all professional!
It has a squarish bottom and I lined it in a bright tealish green jersey fabric.  I wanted something large that I could use to tote all my stuff to work in: lunch, uniform and knitting.  It'll all fit now!  I even put a pocket in, but I couldn't get the pic to upload.  Undecided
The pocket is made of the flowery material.

Comments welcome!

Oops!  I forgot to put in my measurments, tee hee!  It's about 30 inches long, from the top of the handles to the bottom of the bag, and about 16 inches across.  HUGE!

I'm interested in personal swaps -- I love bracelets & necklaces and I don't know how to make them.
