This is pretty basic...I took an old brown and silver frame which I picked up at the Sally-Ann, took out the cheesy 80's print and spray painted it black...then I took the fabric i got in the scraps bin and framed it...Voila!

i did this in my apt...only I used vintage fabric and went to flea markets and antique shops and bought antique looking frames...I filled a whole wall with it and it looked so awesome.

Thanks for the great comments everyone....those are paper lanterns on the fabric (sorry can't take a pic at the moment as i'm in the process of moving) and yes it is behind glass
