Bag it up, bag it in, let me bag-in!

Hello Everyone,

I ran up this fun clutch to experiment with a new style bag frame.  The frame pops open to a hexagon shape when you pull the opening apart.

I used the last fat quarter of some Alexander Henry Fashionista fabric that I had.  Added a frill which I trimmed with some nice red ribbon (which I...er...obtained lots of from a perfume counter he! he!).

I thought the clutch was really cute; I say was because it's gone!  It went to a good home really quickly so I think I'll make a few more  Smiley

and other side

The lining was bubblegum pink, didn't get a chance to take a photo, but I will for the next one because the hexagon opening frame is handy.

UPDATE: Here are more clutches as promised...

This one is called 'Sex on the Beach'...like, YES PLEASE!!!  Grin

This one is called 'Fiesta de la Meurtos' clutch

Heres what they look like inside (with the hexagon shape opening).

I hope you like 'em.

Thanks for looking! XX

Hi Lady Bag,

Your clutch is lovely! Even more exciting than that is that it looks like you've tracked down the bag frame that I've been searching high and low for! I saw them being used for knitting bags a while ago and I've been wanting to make something similiar for my sister! Are you able to get ones that are longer than 12"?

I'm interested in personal swaps -- I love bracelets & necklaces and I don't know how to make them.

That clutch is adorable! I can see why it was snapped up immediately. Where indeed did you get the bag frame?

Great job, I love it. I just got some of this fabric in the mail yesterday off of ebay! I can't wait to use it!!

BTW, where did you get the frame? I've been looking for some for about a year now and can't find anyone selling them! All of the sites online that have them are not in the US and don't seem to be selling online.
