It's lovely - peaches and cream,  perfect, ohh and apples too  Wink

I've hand sewn on my zippers so far because I'm a wuss  Grin

i loveeeee the apples. it's my favourite part. i actually got them at wal-mart for a dollar something, wal-mart has some really cute buttons. :p

That's gorgeous, and looks like it would easily sell at least $100 at a good boutique! Well, i would definitely buy it... great job!

really? i would have no idea how to price anything i make. hopefully i can open my online shop, too but it's tricky.

Great dress! Good job on the zipper too....if you want the back to be even better I would suggest putting a hook and eye on the top where the zipper stops. That just an idea though....

i hadn't even thought of that, but i'll definitely look into it. thanks for the tip! Cheesy

I was going to make a suggestion to add a hook and eye on the top of the zipper too but I see someone beat me to it... ^_^;;

Well, I love the color, it looks very good on you, the apple buttons are cute and I love the pleating on the hem - very nice touch.

Oh, zoubs, that is SOOO incredibly awesomely cute! Cheesy

I think the addition of that matching fabric at the lowered waist and ruffles really make this dress. So, is this your own design?

thank you so much shydeana! yes it is! it's the 4th dress i've designed and the one i like the most. i'm getting a little better each time which i guess it what happens when you practice. everyone seems to like this one a lot, i might make more and try selling them on my website.

I would also like to know whether you came up with the design or not, because frankly, I love it and think you did pretty fantastically...esp ecially considering you'd never done a zipper before!  I'm still too timid to try one, haha.  I love the ruffle, too, by the way.  I really like the peach color, and I agree that the apple buttons are adorable, however, I'm not sure they go great together.  Still, maybe they do and in any case it's still a fabulous dress.
