WooHoo!  I can't wait to see!

I've noticed this past several days that I've been making homemakery things like a champ, but the actual homemaker tasks I need to do have been totally neglected.  I haven't even cooked a meal since last Thursday.

Ahh.... fabric, yarn, and the sewing machine... how do I love thee...

my partner was super fast!! Shocked
here is everything she sent. a big cloth grocery tote, a canister with knitted cozy, painted hook, lightswitch cover, knitted slipper socks, and some strawberry-kiwi tea.

me modeling the slipper socks, and the tote, it says 'make a vegetable smile today, go organic!'

and a shot of my dirty carpet so you can see i have been slacking on the homemaker tasks as well.

pea-hen eyeing my slipper socks jealously

not only is yarnhag a talented crafter, she is also a very talented poet! each item had a little tag attached with a homemakerish limerick about it. for example:

some slipper socks knitted by hand
should have your feet feeling just grand
be you scrubbing the tile
or just resting a while
(which you should do-without reprimand)

isn't that awesome?

Ha!  That IS awesome!  Bonus points, yarnhag! Cheesy

I am also sad that I missed this swap--but I've been stalking it, and I'm dying to watch the gallery fill out!  (But I'm kind of participating in the spirit of the thing by continuing to neglect my own homemakery tasks, even though I am not compensating for it by crafting homemakery stuff for others. Roll Eyes)
