Grin Well it didn't turn out quite the way i was hoping, but here is my first attempt at hoop handles. I was very inspired by retrokitten Very Cherry Jordy Purse. I wish mine had turned out as nice as hers. *sigh* Oh well. When I do another I don't think I'll topstitch the handle facing down and will do a correct measurement for the arc (the INSIDE of the handle pixie...not the OUTSIDE d'oh).

The outside is $1 table Walmart fabric and the inside is orange polar fleece. The hoop handles I've had for ages and were from my grandma's stash. I think she was originally intending them for bean plant hangers. I've got a blue pair too.

Zipper pocket inside. My advice for the day...don't attempt zippers when you've had WAYYYY too much caffine.  Tongue

A co-worker just came by and saw the pic and declared it 'suitably gaudy' YAY go me!

I think it's great!

I love the colors, and that big fat button is just perfect.

thank you thank you for the positive response!

yes, it's a Jordy with a section cut out for the handle. i used a facing to attach it to the inside (thanks to retrokitty for the idea!)

no tinafish, candace hasn't seen it yet. i shoulda brought it in to work. the original idea for the fabric was a skirt, there is a lot left so maybe it will be part of one someday - i mean sheesh i need something to go with the bag!

forgot to post the size...about 10-ish wide by 8-ish tall and 3" deep.

edit::candace just stopped by to check out the pictures.  Cheesy
