I'd join, but I just don't know how it would look on someone with a bigger bust and a heavier figure! Plus I've got so many projects right now. But I just think this is the cutest freakin' top, and I hope lots of people make it.

So cute.  I'd love to try it out in a sunny yellow I just bought for another project...

I might be up for this if I have enough yardage of the stuff I'd like to use. I've probably got at least 30 pounds on the author, but I think it'd be flattering on the neck and shoulders...

Does anybody know how many yards the suggested yarn has?

I'm a little intimidated by the pattern, as I've never done any short row shaping and I am a little bigger in the bust area.  I really want to make this though.

that looks like a lot of fun!! but im worried about adding some more short row shaping..as I am not that skinny. But I could be. I wish she had put some measurements in!

Bust 34 inches around - waist 28 inches. Those are my measurements. The top fits with some ease - hence the belt thingy to cinch the waist.

It's an easy knit - and I wear mine all the time.

Steph.

I am officially in! I have a few balls of Sirdar snuggly, and I figure the author used a 4 ply and thats what Sirdar is...I'm gauge swatch lazy so I guess I'll just take the plunge. Anyone else still knitting this?

I'm making one for my sister right now in KnitPicks Shine Sport in Crocus, reducing the number of stitches significantly since I couldn't make gauge at all. It was actually knitted all the way to bind-off when I discovered I didn't have enough short rows in the bust (my sis is a B cup), so I frogged it halfway and am redoing it.
