Yeah, I got one of those private messages, too. Was a bit unexpected.

Did it send all of the private messages at once? Because, I'd think a flood timer type deal on private messages would atleast hinder the bot for a bit. Assuming SMF doesn't already implement one of those.

There is some sort of flood control but I wonder if the spammer timed it so that he sent them every X seconds and got around it.

Wow, yesterday I checked my email and wondered...uhm, why would I receive a private message...I'm a newbie.  I started reading the names  of some of the links and was suspicious. 

I've just had an opportunity to visit crafster and glad to know you are taking care of us.  It is much appreciated.  Thanks a bunch!
