I worked all afternoon on little 'marble' color Fimo skulls.
after two tries closely monitoring the toaster oven at 200 (not closely enough Wink) my boyfriend suggested using the regular/gas oven. so we preheated it for a good 20 minutes (I don't think you even need to preheat a gas oven but I do think it evened the temperature out) to 265, and I left them in the oven for eight minutes. they are less than a quarter inch thick and very tiny.
I don't have an oven thermometer but I'm considering one if I ever need to use clay again. sheesh.

now to figure out what to do with all these haphazardly mauve skulls!!

I think they all look great. Exactly what bones should look like if they came out of the ground!

My fairly new (like, 3 years old?) gas oven needs to preheat.
And I ADORE those skulls. Seriously, I'd keep them.
What are you planning on doing with them?

If it makes you feel better, i kinda like the brown ones more than the white - or at least equally.

I think both types would sell. You could describe them as Kaos said in a few posts above. And yes, gas stoves need to preheat. =) nice and creepy

If you don't like the color, you can use acrylic or craft paint and paint them, or rub the paint on, and wipe it off to 'age' them.
They are cool though!
