I made this for my friend for her pal's 30th - I'm now teaching her to knit so she can make the next one herself!!! The pics are a bit dark but its a deep purple with a noro kuryeon panel and handle. It has a button and hoop closure and I used wooden curtain rings to attach the handle. Thanks for looking.

What a cute bag!  I love the idea of having kureyon accents rather than making the whole bag out of it.  It really highlights the colors that way, and it's probably sturdier, too.

Thanks all for the kind words. I used the candy stripers patterns from SBN for the basis of the contruction but changed everything, really, and yes, the purple part is felted.
