Okay, so this might seem like a stupid/gross question to ask, but I'm honestly curious. What happens if you get a tattoo and then later get a zit in the middle of it? Does it affect the ink in any way? I also had the same questions about poison ivy or something similar.

Also, for the craftsters that are tattoo artists, how common is it for someone to have an allergic reaction to the ink? I've got metal allergies, but nothing horribly horrific, just the standard can't wear anything but sterling silver or v. high quality gold, and I'm curious about it.

Thanks for answering the silly questions Tongue
nope nothing happens to your tattoo when you get a zit. or a bug bite.
but if you fall off your bike/skateboard/horrible road rash.. and it scars then depending on how deep the scar is you will loose some of your tattoo.
ive had an allergic reaction to red ink. but it was a specific brand of tattoo ink. millenium ink to be exact. it had too much iron oxide in it and it made my tattoo raise and get extremely itchy... it went away after a few weeks, but it sucked.

cobratastic, you are literally a work of art. I love the one on your ribs, and would really like to see when you color the zombie (if you plan to). <3
