I have decided I really want to get a simple  black outline of a bird of my own design  on my lower arm and a star on my foot. Roll Eyes I am thinking really small like 1"'x1" each does anyone know how much money that would tend to be? I want to know how much to save up and I dont live anywhere near a tatoo parlor. Undecided

There's a minimum, to cover the needles and ink cups and whatnot, even if your actual tattoo only takes five minutes.  Usually 50-60 dollars.

the cheapest i found was for $40. since you want it so small, they probably charge you the minimum. So I'd save around $60 each. Call and ask the one you'll go to what their minimum is, then save $10-15 more than that.

Does anyone know of a really good tatoo artist in Cincinatti, Rochester, or Buffalo?
I have been thinking about getting a tatoo forever but I am really afraid that I will get a funny looking tatoo more than the pain.

There's a place called White Tiger tattoo in Rochester where I got some major work done, they were professional and worked with me so much...unlike some places I have checked out... They are right by the Kodak plant so check it out!

If my grandma had a quote like that, I'd totally use a pin-up girl getting a tattoo and have it say "Tattoos aren't just for boys..!" or something silly like that... like those old posters.

Whats the plan you have for it?

Well, I did have it all planned.. but I've gone and changed my mind again.  Guess I'll know when it's right.  Roll Eyes

I would suggest that a 1 by 1 is hardly worth the time, even though I have smallish curlicue thingies on my shoulders.  Go for something a bit bigger! Where are you planning on putting it?

Thank you so much ltz! I know exactly where you mean! As for the price thing, I want a good artist to do it but I am also poor. Dont worry about me- I barely trust haircutters! It is also important to me that I draw my own tatoo. Has something to do with being an anal retentive artist.
