I've been talking about this one in the ideas thread for a while.

I's apparantly an anomalous movement/motion illusion. All the lines are parallel but they look like they're following the curve.

It took an hour and a half and $150AUD. I'm on Day 3 of healing and it's going okay so far. It should heal quickly because it's all lines.

**Edited to add that it is actually straight. I'm standing on a slight angle to the camera, and the wonkiness about 2/3 of the way down is the ridiculously pronounced dip in my back. Bah.

I like it lots and lots.  Kiss

Getting a tattoo hurt, but as I had expected. Nipple piercing hurt more in the long run. It feels like annoying bad sunburn at the moment, a little scabby and very itchy. I'm putting Bepanthen (nappy rash cream) on it 3 times a day, and all is well Smiley

What do you think?

My next tattoo will be a memorial for my Gramma... even though she said "tattoos are for boys.."  I have it all drawn out and am just kind of sitting on it right now to see if any changes come to me.  If not.. I hope to get it within the next month.

If my grandma had a quote like that, I'd totally use a pin-up girl getting a tattoo and have it say "Tattoos aren't just for boys..!" or something silly like that... like those old posters.

Whats the plan you have for it?

I got the Sick Of It All dragon on my left sholder blade at 19. I'm 35 now and I still like it. The shark I got at 18 on my hip bone, tho, stretched when I was prego. I'll go for a cover up soon.

I have decided I really want to get a simple  black outline of a bird of my own design  on my lower arm and a star on my foot. Roll Eyes I am thinking really small like 1"'x1" each does anyone know how much money that would tend to be? I want to know how much to save up and I dont live anywhere near a tatoo parlor. Undecided
