Wow. I actually really love these. I adore small, strange tattoos. I should post some pictures of mine to illustrate.

thanks!  i love small, strange tattoos, too.  i have plans in the next couple of weeks to add to the collection and get the ampersand from ellen raskin's "figgs and phantoms" on my wrist:

my rule is only children's book tattoos and right now i think i'm going to keep it to only black to maintain the "small, strange" aesthetic i've got going with the wrinkle in time ones.

so I just noticed this post and browsed through all 25 pages of it!! Everybody has great tats! After seeing everyone else's I just HAD to post a pic of my one and only (totally relate to the no money to support my habit thing! Smiley ) anyway the pics are crappy because all I have at school is a webcam but here's a few pics of mine....

it doesn't mean anything it's just a design I drew up...my next one is going to be either a celtic knot or cross (when i can afford it of course!) hope everyone likes!

I love wild daisies.....

And 3rd I do have a question for those brave souls that got their feet tattooed. Did it hurt like a mother? I have been thinking about getting one there but I always talk myself out of it...I am such a wuss. Grin

Yay!  I got my glue gun today!  Woo!
It says, "Sassy-Oh-Matic".  The glue is red, yes; I wanted it to be, like, gluey blood.  Or something.  Whatever.
It's amazingly difficult to take pictures of your own hip :p
I LOVE it.  It's SO ME!
Once again, it's by Joey at Pumpkin Tattoo in Boston.

its all on the person and their pain tolerance...ive got some in places the artist thought for sure i wouldnt be able to sit thru..he said alot of guys couldnt do it and were babies...and its all on the place, where on the body it is...to me, a fleshy place is less likely to hurt than a boney one...at least on me its that way...ive got up onto my collar bone done, with a full chest piece, and in some spots it did hurt, but bearable...also on the tops of both feet...i have skulls, from my toes to ankles..again in some spots it hurt, but again it was bearable...elbows, felt barely anything.a couple of sensative spots, right above my pubic area..heh...i have one too...that was prolly the most painful, it felt like my ovaries were trying to push thru my back...heh...its a good size and goes down pretty far...that was the toughest...ive got several more, but they were pieces of cake! theyre on this thread somewhere... you dont have to go huge for your first one, get something small, so youll know what to expect and if you cant take the pain, you dont have a huge tattoo to finish...
