i posted a couple weeks ago about the one wing, and how painful it was, i think because of pms. I got the other one finished day before yesterday. It wasnt as bad. But, (just to continue my crazy person theories on tattoo pain) the only time it hurt as bad as last time was when I got the color yellow put in there.

Anyways, i have those icky tape marks on my back cause no one will help me get it off. and theres some bloody scabs on the fresh wing, but you cant really tell in the picture.

It took almost a year to get these completed, so im pretty excited right now! I wish they'd be healed already so i could show them off.

well i for one am so glad this was started however late i may be hehe

this one is by Byron at earths edge in winston salem, NC and i would highly recommend him (on the wrist)


this one is on my lower back.... wouldnt recommend the artist... kind of a jerk...


this one is a dogwood flower and for the life of me i cant remember the artists name but he was really sweet


and last but not least on the back of my neck at my hair line is this beaut cost $120 for some reason and they artist was a real A**hole but i love it

These are most of my tattoos. Weird, I don't really have many photos of them. Most of the time I even forget I have them. I started when i was 15- and I am 36 now, so they are really just a part of me now. When I'm at say, Hobby Lobby and someone is staring- I start thinking I need to blow my nose or something.

They are mostly in the Japanese tradition- many taken from Kyosai paintings. I do have a few trad "americana" pieces"- a Marvin gaye tribute on the back of my knee- and "Deeds not words" w/stars on the back of my neck. (Everyone needs a creed, right?)

I did a heart on my hip when I was 16, and now 12 years later I finally broke down and got a "real" one on my ankle. My best friend and 1st cousin Cassie died last April from Cancer and my grandfather (who basically raised me since I don't know my father at all) is fighting a losing battle with lung cancer. I myself have an obsession with fairies sooo...



I got Tinkerbell sitting on a cancer ribbon (lavender is representative of all cancers). I had it done Feb 29th. The colors are a lot brighter in person (I used the camera phone for the pic) lol and she doesn't really look that pissed off. I've already got my next one planned, just waiting a bit in between

Hmmm I didn't know lavender represented all cancers. I always wondered if there were supposed to be different colors for different ones. My dad died from bladder cancer and my fiance died from esophogeal cancer and I kind of wanted to get special tats for them but didn't know what to include. I'm not too fond of the ribbon things for some reason but I think I might include one in my next tat maybe
