Here's my first -- I had it done about 3 months ago.  It's on my right ankle (and let me tell you, it is HARD to take a photo of your own ankle.  I had no idea I could be so limber.... Tongue

Anyway, it was done by Jeff at Top Notch Tattoo in Elgin, IL.  I went in with just a rough sketch and told Jeff to do whatever he wanted with color.

I think my dragon came out beautifully.  He is so colorful and my husband says his face portrays a "quiet dignity".  I want to get another one on my left ankle within the next year.

Thanks!  He came out so much more beautiful than I ever expected.  I'm trying to find the file with the sketch we took into the shop, but believe me when I say it was VERY rough.  Jeff looked at my sketch, re-drew it (with much more flair) and colored it.   He is a true artist in every sense of the word.

I love tattoos! They are my favourite form of personal expression.

I got this one in August last year, when I was on my first trip alone to Ottawa:

It's a virgo symbol that I designed.

And I got this one done in Vancouver, in April:

Mine is the Rabbit and the name is my friend's that we got together.

Both of them have major holes that need to be filled, and I want soooo many more tattoos. I love everyone else's here, they are all fantastic!

Thanks for the compliments! Looking at it now I realize that the glare and the pitcture don't do justice to the colours. They are really vivd in real life. Now to get 1000 more...
