Gorgeous!!!!!! Shocked

I have been wanting to do boy/girl skulls for awhile representing my hubby and I.  Yours are brilliant!  The hat on the boy skull is a great touch.

Thank you! I'm so incredibly happy with the way they came out! I'm definitely going back to this man! They were done By Jesse Mitchell At The Royal Peacock in Sacramento, Ca. I'm in love with my little boy and girl!  Cheesy

This is a tattoo I designed for my best friend. We've known each other since we were five years old and he wanted something to represent how our lives have intertwined. I finally settled on a Maori symbol for friendship, showing two pieces actually as one, separating, but always coming back together again. He loved it thankfully and he is getting it on his right bicep. For some scale, its about the size of a can of soda.

I got this about 23 years ago, so it's not near as pretty as it used to be, of course the dry skin doesn't do anything for the beauty of it, either... Undecided

my husband got this last month, just for me!

as you've probably guessed by now, I'm holly

I'm planning to get a heart with wings on my shoulder as a memorial to my father-in-law, and a tramp stamp with my kids' names.

Old very poor quality, but it has all of my tats except one (the word "Daddy" in cursive script on my ankle, I never bothered to photograph it.)

Better pic of my wings, my favorite piece.

WOW! There is some awesome work in this thread (and the last). SO hard to go through it all and remember which ones I loved, and which ones I thought were crazy!! But, I guess you do have to be in a different state of mind to intentionally wound yourself, now don't you??!!  Grin

Anyways... this is my first tattoo. The pic was taken the same day, about 3 hours after. Love the woman who did it for me, she really is an incredible artist, but because of my nervousness, I didn't pay enough attention to the sketch, or as to it's direct placement on my back!!! I HATED it for a long time. Had to remind myself that I KNEW it was permanent BEFORE I went in, and that I din't have a right to complain about it. Thankfully, it's on my back, and not somewhere I can see it unless I WANT to.

The colours suck in the pic, it's turquoise and navy. Can you all notice the flaw, or do I write it off as part of it being "original" and "unique"?
