zeus- yep, its allowed fine, im sure the original poster wont be offended at all, because they posted a tutorial originally. if you have a photobucket account, use the [IMG] bit thats displayed under the desired pic, copy and paste the line into your post, and enter into a new line of writing (or another image). if you dont have a photobucket account, its super easy, and i advise you get one (free, and fast to set up). theres also an option of uploading pictures to craftster, but i dont know how to do that. there is a instruction page somewhere... Undecided

thanks so much for agreeing to post the pics!

mkay....  here goes. fifty fifty chance of anything showing up...  Roll Eyes

i'm not reposting all of the words and stuff, just the pictures and a little description so you can match it up. the pics are all in order though, so the tutes third X will be the third picture here, etc. (hopefully). tell me if its messed up, alright?

*crosses fingers*

dimensions and stuff....

how to get the curve, the pic above STEP ONE

this is step two ^^^^^

step three ^^^

first pic of step four ^^^

anddd the second pic of step four, the pinned one^

step five^

step six... ^

step seven ^

and that was step ten.

I know it comes one pic short, but I didn't save the picture of the finished bag. whoops.

anyway, good luck!

thanks for posting those pictures.  I'm sure that the original poster wouldn't be offended, they just haven't been on here in almost a year and probably don't even realise or remember about the pictures that got deleted.

I just finished a hobo bag and I did do the square-bottom, but by pulling the edges out into points and stitching a seam across about 1 1/2" measured in from the point, and it is much easier than the skipping bag's bottom, I think.  Just leave an opening in your lining when you stitch the bottom seam, then turn everything through that hole, stitch it up, and tuck it back into your bag. Here's my post of a similar bag I made (partly with a pattern, partly my own way):

thank you so much for posting this tutorial!  i was in a stump for awhile on what kind of new bags to make.  i'm so bored of the regular totes and i've gone crazy from all the cargo bags i've made.  this will make the perfect bag/diaper bag for my best friend.  (she hates cheesey baby stuff)

p.s.  did you see the snakes on a plane bag someone made from your tutorial?  it is so awesome!
