The lettering is from Walmart's sewing section and was partially removed with a hot iron to create a distressed look. I printed the skull on my inkjet with a scrap of transfer paper I had left over -it wouldn't distress : (. I don't think my iron gets hot enough for the letters. If I had been going for perfection (rather than the messy look), I would have been sorely disappointed.

I just thought I'd share this since it turned out!!

i love the lettering.  can you explain a little more how you did it?  is it a stencil?  i'm looking into alternatives to iron on lettering.  thanks!
