Well, I have to tell you that the pictures posted by motleycruiser do not do justice to the items she sent me.  I LOVE EVERYTHING!  As amazing as all of it is, I am still reeling from her killer idea of turning a sock into a wrist pin cushion.  Each item is terrific.

I received her package last week and did not open it until today (after I mailed mine to her).  I also didn't come on this board until today, because I didn't want to potentially see what she sent.

You guys would be fortunate to receive her as a swap partner in the future.  She rocks!

Okay, this is my first time posting photos on craftster, so bear with me if they look strange.

Here is a photo of the wrist pin cushion made for me from a sock and cottonballs by motleycruiser:

and another pin cushion from the same sock and a wallet from dishtowels:

I will be mailing in the morning (I hope I hope) if I don't make it before work I will have to go to the Do-It-Yourself post office and then it will actually not get posted until Monday  Undecided
So, cross your fingers  Wink
And this is really bad becasue I have benn done FOREVER but have not mailed for various reasons  Sad

I can't believe that is a sock and cotton balls--ingenius!! And a wallet made with dishtowels, too?  I can't wait to see all the other ideas--this is a fun swap!

Thanks everyone. You know if you are in a pinch to make something I would recomend the dishtowels. I got a LOT of fabric from 4. I still had a tiny bit left after this.

Just remember if you use ones from the $1 store measure them.  It kept confusing me why they wouldnt add up on the sides until I noticed the hems on all of them are crooked & cut them off.

My package is all wrapped up and ready to be mailed on Monday.  I went over my 10 dollar limit and had to leave something out.  Embarrassed

I've never mailed out a package to the US (I'm from Canada) so I'm not sure how long it will take.
