what a fun idea for a swap...i missed this the first time around...i love that bag...what a great idea...and those slippers look really soft, what pattern/yarn did you use?

I hope there is another round for this swap!!  WOW!  I will never look at the items in the dollar store the same way again!!

That bag is wonderful!! And the revamped candle holders are a good idea!!

I just bookmarked this page because I want to see what other ideas you guys come up with--excellent so far--

ha ha pincushion from cotton balls and socks--I can imagine it!!

The slipper pattern is a variation of this one. I crocheted 2 rows of DC around the top for a better fit.

And the yarn is caron. Not sure of the name I sent the wrapper with the slippers for washing instructions. I think it may be a discontinued yarn because Im finding a lot of it in the dollar stores around here. It has little flecks of sparkily stuff spun thru it if that helps...
