Well after much procrastanation I have finally found a box and gotten all of my stuff ready to mail to Dayzi.
BUT!!! I went to make her a little note to go in the box to explain all of the craftness and MY PRINTER IS OUT OF INK  Shocked
So I will write the note out by hand (sorry if you cannot read it Dayzi  Cheesy) and then I am off to the post office.

Be prepared for many pics because my partner was so AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Miss Chiquita was ultra nosey when I opened the box...I think she knew there was something in the box for her  Wink

Chiquita checking out the cutest little snowman light that will definately be shown during the season.

And look she was right there was something for her in the box.

Unfortunately the jar lid didn't make the trip to Ohio in one piece but the good news is I saw those same jars at my $1 store so it will easily be replaced.

And here 1/2 of the amazing loot I got

2 kitchen towels with instrucxtions on how to make them, the doggie treat jar, my snowman, and a crochet bookmark w/instructions on how to make another.

and the other 1/2

a tissue holder w/extra packs, a notebook that has a reusable cover AND a crochet hook holder

I was so lucky to have such a great partner. Thank you so much!!!!!

Whew!  I'm relieved you liked the stuff in your package.  I mailed it before I opened yours, and once I did open it, I was like, "Oh boy ..."

I feel so bad your lid was broken during shipment.  I thought I had packed well enough.  It probably happened when they stamped it "FRAGILE."  LOL!  I will be happy to send you the $1 to replace it.

I'm happy to know your poochie was happy too.   Wink

all that from the dollar store?  I love the crochet hook holder--what is it made of--another towel? a napkin?  I think this swap really makes you re-think every day objects!! Very nice...

I supplemented the items I purchased at the dollar store with stuff from my own stash.

The snowman was made from a purchased ivy jar and a string of lights.  I used my own paints.

The bookmark was made from my own crochet cotton but was embellished with beads from a keyring I bought and tore apart.

The notebook was made from a purchased placemat and composition book.

The doggie treat jar was made from a purchased jar and filled with purchased treats.

The crochet needle caddy was made from a purchased placemat and lined with fabric scraps from my own stash.

The handtowels were purchased, and I made toppers for them from scraps out of my stash.

The tissue holder was made from fabric scraps, and I purchased the tissues.

The dollar stores in my area were lean as far as things to use for fabric.  They didn't have cool dish towels like motleycruiser used to make the bag she sent me.
