i tried metal enameling recently and came up with this fun little dish.  it wouldn't be a good thing to serve food on, so it's purely decorative, but i think it came out pretty cute:

She needs a mirror top table!  Wink

Isn't enameling great? I learned three techniques a year ago and have been doing it ever since.

That is very cute!!  Boy, it brings back memories!  I almost forgot about metal enameling.  We did a project in grade school.  I think it was a little charm or something for a necklace.  I can't remember too much of it tho, I mean, I am getting to be an old maid!!

Keep up the good work!!!   Cool

What tools and equipment would you need to do this at home?  Or is it really something you need to take a class to learn?

I am interested in personal supply swaps.  I have tons of fabric and scrapbooking supplies. I am interested in sewing notions and trim, especially any heirloom sewing supplies.  If anyone wants to trade a smocker/pleater for fabric or scrapbook stuff, I'm in! I'll also trade for things on my wist.
