Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

Awe thanks. Smiley The yarn was really soft, when I was finished I was really fighting the urge to give it away.

Yellowblanket, I'm so glad you like your goodies!!!

The yarn sure is dyed by me, with help from The Kool-Aid Man. It's Wool-Ease, which means that even the brightest dyes come out all sorts of soft brights. (The giant ball has colors inside it! I don't know if you poked into it or not!)

I made the apron pose on its own, since I was so proud- you can also read about the trials and travails of figuring out the pattern over here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=121362

Have fun knitting and wearing that apron about!

So I sent a package to Myclouds- she said she didn't have a camera and I just had to share what I sent- so here goes!
I painted this box- the lid is supposed to be a stage, and all the sides have a theatre them- I wish I had taken a pic of the side that said "Lets go crazy Broadway style!"

And put inside of it goodies like tea bags and goldfish crackers and popcorn. And my favorite- this box to keep tea bags in.  Its supposed to be the crate of Rum from the Pirates of the Carribbean.

And most of the goodies together- missing the collage I did that I forgot to take a pic of. Sad
I made fabric bags for some of the edible goodies, and a "Quote-A-Day" book of Oscar Wilde, her favorite playwright. And I sent some craft stuff to make a door hanger for her dorm room.
