I needed something new sparkley to put on my MP3. So I made this, and I love it so much. I just have to share... ^^ (eow, my closeups do not flatter my nails.. Sorry for expose you for this. Undecided But you´re all strong people and can handle it..? Wink )

You need Beads and fishingcord or really thin n´flexible metalwire

String four beads on the thread

...then string one end of the thread back towards in the first bead. Like this:

Pull, get two beads on one thread and one bead on the other. Get it toghether and pull.

Did you get it? No? Let me be more clear on the next row, how-to then:

Do you follow? Good. Let´s get on... Close the row, and then just add one bead on each side.

Now you close the row in this bead, like that:

Pull the threads and voila! A tiny ball are created! Knot the thread to secure it.This shall be tiny batty´s body. Over to the wings:

String three beads.

Close it like this:

Pull. Add two more beads:

Close, pull and knot it. A wing! (If you wish so, you can put on an extra last row, with just one baed on. It depends which beads you´re using, and how you want the result look like...)

 Make one more wing!

String one bead on a thread and knot it. Make it again. This would be the eyes. Shocked
You  have now made those parts, right? (I change the colours of the parts, just to see ya not fall asleep. Wink Cheesy?

Well. Lets build it together then.

Twist and knot the loose threadends.

Glue it, to fix the parts. Let dry and cut of the ends.

Now you got your very own wee batty. And be aware; it´s highly addicting once you started. Grin

It looks like she used E beads. I'm sure seed beads would work.

Kaleesi: Yeas, I really think bats are the sweetest...  Cheesy In Sweden the bats are so tiny, like mice. Actually, the swedish name of a bat is fladder-mus and litterly translated it is Flutter-mouse. Isn´t that too cute? ^^

Tara1979: I´ve made them up i several differnt versions by now, and they all work out well. The pink one is made of kind of not that wee glasscrystals in the size just under unpopped popcorn. The black one is from the smallest seedbeads I was able to dig out of my beads. U may modify the wings a bit depents of what kind of beads you use. *repeting myself: a speciality of mine Wink *

Oh, anyone who make tiny myntabats. You´ll do post them in crafter, don´t ya`? It would be such a kick for my ego... Grin  Roll Eyes Tongue Cheesy
