This is a baby washcloth I made for a friend who's having a baby...I am making another one to go with it.  I did not block it and it's about 6 1/2 x 7", made with Sugar & Cream cotton yarn.  This is the pattern I made up to make it: (the little lines are for checking off the rows as you do them)

Cast on 30 sts
Knit 5 rows (starting on WS) __ __ __ __ __

Row 6: K6, P3, K3, P3, K3, P3, K3, P1, K5 __ __ __ __ __ __

Row 7: K6, P3, K3, P3, K3, P3, K3, P1, K5 __ __ __ __ __ __

Row 8: K6, P3, K3, P3, K3, P3, K3, P1, K5 __ __ __ __ __ __
