Feeling the need to crochet...

View Profile WWW available for personal swaps
« on: September 14, 2006 06:23:43 AM »

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what stitch is (i mean the bobbly / lumpy bits):

If you know, how do you do it? Or is there anywhere on the net with good instructions for it?

Thanks if anyone can help me Smiley

It looks like a variation of blackberry to me.  I can't tell if its a sort of eyelet-type pattern or not from the pic, and I can't find any really good online references, but gosh, my 80's copy of the Mon Tricot stitchionary has about 4 pages of blackberry variations.  Probably most any stitchionary would have a number of them.

Oh... check out the Blackberry pattern here (it's the fourth pattern down):

(Incidentally, just FYI, trinity stitch and blackberry stitch are the same.  If you look at the instructions posted for each, they're identical. Cheesy  Which also means, if you want more references for that stitch, you can search for either trinity or blackberry and you'll come up with what you need.  Just a helpful bit of info.)
