I made pinwheel baby jacket for my dd.  I used elaan peruvian wool.

Modi: I'm using 6 colors instead of 7.  Knit a total of 72 rounds, and used the adult version border instead of the original one.

This is the jacket in action:

Heeheeheehee!!!
I generally don't comment just to say how cute someone's baby is but oh dear lord look at that little face!!! Hee! Cheesy

The edging on the jacket is really awesome, by the way. I bet that was incredibly time consuming!

That baby is sneering at me! Its like baby Sid Vicious. Haha.

That makes me want to make one of those for my boss's baby, but I'm a total beginner at knitting. I bet I could make a crocheted version, though.

Thanks for the lovely comments.

cheera:  this jacket is very easy knit.  you basically knit in round until reached desired diameter, and add sleeves.

how_german:  the edging is kinda time consuming, it should went faster if the baby would stop chasing my yarn  Grin

Okay, beyond the fact that the babe is precious, and the jacket ROCKS, I have to say my FAVORITE part of these photos is what's hanging up in the background!!!  Tongue

I totally noticed the nursing pads too! A lot of mama's on this board. Though hard to believe I was distracted by anything what with that cutie and her gorgeous sweater. Is there a free pattern for it?
