Horay my first intarsia project!  I originally bought this pattern from a garage sale in hopes that someday I would be able to create it.  I honestly didnt think I would be able to after researching intarsia on crafster and other internet sites *confusing*.  After my boyfriend bought me this book entitled Picture Knits everything started to make alot more sense.  Its set up like one of those Eyewitness books from my childhood with lots of easy to understand pictures so I would definately recommend it to anyone who wants to learn the technique. The yarn I used is Caron Simply Soft so the whole thing cost me around 8 dollars. Also the brim is sturdy enough to be completely straight, but I thought the crinkles were kinda cute! Some matching green fingerless mitts are in the works  Wink. Hope you like!

HOLY ARGYLE BATMAN!! I love it! I've always wanted to do an argyle pattern, but it intimidates me.  Undecided Darn scary pattern.

I'm soooo jealous.  I wish I could knit well enough to make something cool like that.
