This is a jacket I made over the weekend and finished this week. This is quite possibly the project I am most proud of, thus far - it fits me really well, and I think it looks really professional. The buttonholes are bound and unlike my last attempt, these came out nice and straight. There are 4 front buttons, its just hard to see in the photo


I lined it with some champagne polysatin I had lying around

Here's the pattern


I plan to make a detachable collar out of the faux leopard in the background, and a matching skirt

i love it. i have magazines from the 50's and they've inspired me so much. i've always been afraid to use vintage patterns though because of sizing.
