 Grin
Hi, my name is Brandon and I started spinning about a month ago...the only place I can get fiber is the fiber store about 30 miles away from my house, so I had abunch of boucle yarn from Lion Brand that my mom didn't want and I was like...hey...I can "un-ply" it! so I took the thread that was plyed with it out and pulled the fibers out into strips and its like really cool, i was just wondering if anyone else has done this, or even thought about it? I'll post pics tomorrow or so once the yarn is dry!

                      Thanks for your time!

Well a few months ago I bought some "handspun style" wool yarn, the type that's a thin roving twirled with thread to keep it together, for about $10 a 2 oz skein because I liked the color and thought it would make a cool two ply. I unplyed it but wound up making felt beads out of it instead.

They are cool looking beads though.
