I must have accumulated some extra good karma this year, 'cause lots of good things are happening to me! So much, I better spread it around!

Post your favorite unsold items! You know, the ones you really love that have just been sitting, unnoticed and unloved, waiting for someone to appreciate them! Perhaps they just don't photograph well, or they got buried under other listings, or people just don't seem to notice them. Tell me about them! Why do you love them? And maybe I'll give some a new home . . .

Hey guys, just a quick moderator note.

Please DO NOT post a link to your shop.

Please DO post a link to or a picture of an item you're having a hard time selling so that others can give you opinions on how to improve your item or your listing.  (This also means don't post things you just listed! Give it time, people.  Wink)

Thanks!

I've only sold custom stuff inspired by the things in my store, so even though I technically have no sold items, I suppose my stock isn't necessarily all 'unappreciated' as such, but I do feel like a couple of items are getting a lot less views than others.

I'll take you up on that.

This is my favorite item.

It's a handknit cashmere scarf that I designed myself and knit from a recycled sweater. It's very soft.

This is one I was really excited about at first, and everyone at work loves it, but it seems to have fallen flat on Etsy (my crap photography skills, perhaps):

And this one I love dearly because it was such a happy accident:

But pretty much everything on my shop seems to be unloved, so I'll just limit it to those two!

this is a brilliant idea for a thread! (mostly because i feel better seeing that you guys have all this great stuff that hasn't sold).

it also makes me want to etsy shop more.

Thanks!  You should come to my jo-ann store and buy some because on the bolt it looks butt ugly and no one will buy it!  No one could believe how cool it looked as a bag.  I want to get more, but not if this tote never sells!

This would be a good shirt for my boyfriend if it weren't red.  I like it.

That's been a fairly popular reaction - do you think it's just that there's not enough contrast with the black text, or would another color shirt be better?  I made it as a silkscreen intending to do batches of them, but I was waiting for the first one to sell before printing others.

This is a great thread, it's nice to get some feedback on our shops.
