I made my son a pair of denim booties with a suede sole for some traction when he figures out that those legs of his can be used for walking.  To decorate, I simply put a little froggy button sewn on super tight so he can't swallow.

I forgot to mention that they're kind of dirty because he's been wearing them.  He and his brother have discovered that if you mix water with dirt you get this really fun substance called MUD!!!

Those are pretty dang cute!  I love the funky fabric.  I think I"m going to copy you and use some fun fabric like you've done.  I'm going to stick with the leather on the bottom though because it makes them non-slip and my little guy is learning how to walk so he needs all the help he can get!  Smiley

Here's a question for you...  If all the pieces are doubled (cute pattern on the outside and pattern on the inside), how do you join your toe top pieces to the two sole pieces?  I hope this question makes sense...   Roll Eyes
