Terrific job, I love the little croissant! I think I'd have a hard time sticking pins in it too. I'd probably end up having it on a knick-knack shelf or something...

This is fantastic and soooo cute! You have inspired me to do something similar.  Cheesy  I have been making a lot of projects out of felt lately and looking for something functional.

My pincushion is usually the couch - or my pants leg - when I'm watching TV and working on a project. hah. My guy hates it, he's worried that I'll leave one behind or something. Totally possible.  Tongue

holy WOW!!!!  In the first pic, I though each individual croissant and block of cheese was its own pincushion!!  I didn't even notice the giant pins stuck in them!  WOW!  What fabulous details, excellent stitching, GORGEOUS pincushion!

I immediately hit the "this rocks" button...Kudos to you!!  You should definately think of selling these!

I can tell you, Fall is composed of

1 part dead fish smell
1 part wet leaves
1 part arctic chilled air (not winter chilled variety)
2 parts crunchy walking
a pinch very cold rain
some apples you picked yourself
a few very still moments
a good deal of inner reflection
