This is a Black Lace Fan that I made with a matching bag to keep it in.
Unfortunately it doesn't actually work as a "cool you down" fan but its stil pretty  Smiley more decoration than anything else really!

Bamboo Cocktail sticks painted black.
Sewn in a fan shape onto some really pretty black lace, edged with thin black ribbon.

Lovely! It reminds me of the fans I used to have as a little girl, they were sent over by my Spanish family. The bamboo sticks make it look very delicate

totally awesome! i wonder if you could make one bigger with longer dowls?  you would need alot more lace but it would be woth it, dont you think?

Sorry I meant to say Bamboo Skewers.... the kind you use for kebabs on a barbeque, cocktail sticks would make a very cute, but very tiny little fan! Pretty fiddly to make id expect  Smiley
