Is there some kind of ettiquette that suggests how many projects a knitter may have on the go  at one time?  (my husband vehemenly argues ONE)... if not, maybe I'll put this one in the bathroom... heh heh heh...

So I know the bathroom thing is suppose to be a joke, but I kind of think that's the best idea ever! As if my roommate didn't think I was crazy enough already....

I, um, actually keep crochet in the bathroom, usually... <blush>  lol
I work away at small things while my little lady has her evening bath.
Crochet is easier to drop at a second's notice.  :-D

It's growing!!!

I'm loving it so far. This is my first cable project. I thought it would be so much harder, but it is actually very easy.

There's my progress as of a couple days ago... I really should have used chunky instead of worsted yarn... that's what happens when you're too lazy to properly check what kind of yarn to use. lol. So the cables are thinner and there's more space between them, but the person that's getting this bag will love it, so that's all that really matters.

I finished the body of the purse:

I end up not really following the pattern. Read it, got the idea of it, and went off. So my shaping is off at the top. I can't decide if I want to go back and make the top pull in more, or if I like it as is.

I think I'm going to buy some purse handles though, give it a bit more of a structured look.

Is anyone planning on lining this with any fabric or anything?

I'm going to pick up some yarn tomorrow and start sometime this week...but probably not until the weekend (with 3 tests and a clinical day...there's just no time for Knitting *pout*)
