I'm not sure a tutorial is needed, it looks pretty simple to figure out. The tree trunk is embroidered around the edges to tack it into place, the leaves are embroidered straight down the center so they are still 3 dimensional, and the flowers look like they have multiple french knots in the center of them.

No doubt about it though, it is a gorgeous bag!

Very nice attention to detail and an awesome choice of color. I have a simple felt purse pattern for little girls that I have made before but never thought to stich the pieces in this manner to get the 3D look. I have 3 to make for Christmas and I will definitely change my technique to this.

It reminds me of Japanese craft..they are expert at simple made beautiful..this bag is gorgeous...now I have to spell check, cause I know I spelt that word wrong. Yep! I did... Grin
