Is everyone [who clicked on that link, at least] ready to erase the memory of that scary-ass clown from their minds? GOOD! Cause I've got some eye candy here that is perfect for such a task!

First up, I received an amazing card from the lovely and talented (oh, wait -- we're all lovely and talented, so that's redundant, right? Oh, well -- it bears repeating!)... amaryllisroze! Check this beauty out:

Hard to see from the scan, but those are tiny metal skulls (what are those, amaryllisroze? Brads? What? Need some!) in the corners. They're fabulous! She made this to look like a playing card and when I showed it to my boyfriend, I pointed that fact out and said, "See? It's the, um... well, it's the Skull of Skulls, of course!" (Hee hee. I totally crack myself up: "Skull of Skulls.")

Even the back of this card is beautiful:

But wait! There's more! Smiley

I also received from the lovely and talented miss gingerquilts. This guy is great -- he's appliqued felt with a great blanket stitch around the edges. He's fun to touch:

Aaaand... not to be outdone in the "even my backside is lovely" category, gingerquilts also decorated the back of the card (the blurry stuff is her personal information, which I didn't think she'd want broadcasted here):

That image is great, gingerquilts -- what's the back made of and how'd you get the laughing guy on there? Curious about the technique. The scan doesn't do it justice, because it's way cooler in person.

Aaaannnd... I am done receiving! For a re-cap, check the big gallery to see my fabulous collection together with my book.

In news of sending... I'm down to the final 2 cards and the holder. Yay! One card is for the lovely and talented goatgoddess and that should go out on Monday. The final card and holder is for the lovely and talented Miss Bigmouth. At this point, I'm kind of curious as to how that will turn out.  Grin

Those tiny skulls are the same kind as the one Stifflersmom used on my card...when I saw that, I had to get some for myself. I got them at http://www.sacredkitschstudio.com/

I had a lot of fun with this card because the big skull on the front is made from a gel medium transfer. I'm just learning how to make them.

Ginger...you made some excellent skulls yourself!

The "skull of skulls" title cracked me up!

What a creative idea, a-roze! Both of those last two cards are sooo nice.  Smiley

Glad the boney fellow arrived safely kaesea!  The back is printed on that special ink jet fabric you can get for quilts, pillows, etc.  I used the iron on variety.  I found the image somewhere on the internet.  He WAS going to be the original side but you said no bows (ha ha) and I was afraid his bow tie would disqualify him.

Oh, no! Nothing would disqualify that guy! I guess I should have been more specific -- no hair bows. Too late now, but I'll keep it in mind if I ever ask for more skull ATCs. Smiley

I'm just messing with ya kaesea.  I couldn't figure out what to do with that guy.  I had a lot of time in front of the tv watching Ohio State with my guys so I decided to do some handstitching while we watched.

That other guy is cool, though!

Knowing that this card was made while you were watching football makes it all the more special to me!  Wink

Go, Buckeyes!

That laughing skull is GREAT! So is the gel medium transfer, that's much cleaner than I've ever gotten with a blender marker!
