I got suckered into helping clean out my parents' garage this weekend...but my mom collected antiques back when I was a kid, so you never know what kind of vintage-y things I might find.

Check out the sweet-ass card I got from rackycoo today:

I LOVE it! Thanks so much!

It's made from an actual playing card, which is very cool. And those rivet lookin' bits are 3D. Are those glued on there, Ms. Coo?

Oh, I love this swap! It's so much fun to get little pieces of art in the mail every few days. It's also great just to watch this gallery and see what everyone else has gotten. Every card has been so amazing (I'm sorry... I feel like a broken record saying that, but... well... it's true!)

The "rivet lookin' bits" are actually brads, but I usually can't stand to have stuff sticking out the back, so I break off the little stems and glue them down.

I know that's nuts, but I can't help it!  Cheesy

Not nuts at all -- I was just curious about it because they looked like brads but then... they didn't go through to the back! Nicely done. Smiley

I received a beauty from amaryllisroze today!  Check out my newest feathered friend

The back is really pretty, too.  Thanks A-roze!!  I love it.  I need to take some lessons from you so I can start making "nonquilty" ATCs!
