Swap name: ATC swap ring with book
Craftster member who is organizing this swap: Stifflersmom, There is a co-organizer: Rackycoo

Sign-up date range: closed
Date to send item by:
ATCs - two ATCs should be mailed each week, but all ATCs should be mailed by October 16th, and received by October 26th
Book - please send your book by October 16th

***portions of the signup requirements post have been deleted, as signups are closed***

Swap Organizer himself/herself meets these conditions:
- Has fully read the Swap Info Guide: YES
- Has successfully completed two swaps as a participant: YES
- Is not organizing more than three swaps right now: YES
- Will recruit a co-organizer or give all details to a Swap Moderator if this swap has more than 25 participants: There is a co-organizer: Rackycoo
Swap Organizer will check each participant to make sure they meet these conditions:
- Has been a member for at least one month: YES
- Has posted at least 15 times: YES
- Has completed one swap successfully before signing up for multiple swaps at a time: YES
- Is not currently signed up for more than five swaps: YES
- Does not have any negative feedback: YES

Details of swap:

Each person will be responsible for sending out a standard size (2.5"x3.5") ATC card to every other member of the swap, in the theme that each person has chosen.

There will also be a book designed to hold the 9 atc cards received in the swap.

Each participant has selected a theme for the ATCs sent to them, and for the ATC holder/book.

Working ahead of schedule is perfectly fine, but all items need to be mailed by October 16th, and rec'd by partner by October 26th.

A DC# is required for the book (internationally swappers excluded), but not the individual cards. If a card is not received by your partner by the 26th of October, you will be asked to resend a new card. If the book isn't thick enough for postal requirements, wrap it in bubble wrap.

Confused? Basically, all 10 people in this swap will end up with a card done by every other member, plus a book to keep them in. You can send your ATC card to your partner at the same time as you send the book. Cheesy

For the book: This is pretty open; you should ask your partner what they'd prefer ( a book, holder, etc. ) You can alter a book, handbind a new book, modify a tin (altoid tins are too small), or create some sort of odd and unusual holder. The only requirements are that it hold at least 9 cards, and that it is in the theme your partner picked.
...

***Questionaire has been deleted from this post***

Also remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find out how to ship your item and other details about participating in a swap.

AFTER PEOPLE HAVE SIGNED UP AND BEEN APPROVED, LIST THE PARTICIPANTS HERE AND WHO IS SENDING TO WHOM:

1. Modus Operandi    theme: Foreign Countries (Think France, Japan, Australia, China, Mexico, etc).

2. kaesea                 theme: I'm going to go with skulls/skeletons. I   prefer "realistic" skulls, but cartoon-type skulls are fine. I'd rather no bows, though.

3. Phizzychick            theme: Myth & Magic

4. rackycoo               theme: Old timey carnival. Could be the food, the rides, or especially the sideshow freaks...

5. goatgoddess         theme: Vintage collage, zetti:
                                       http://www.teeshamoore.com/

6. Bigmouth             theme: old blues musicians (a couple I really love are Bessie Smith and Robert Johnson, and there were some other great ones out there; I'm talking really old, like scratchy old 78s old; lots of info and images can be found online.)

7. gingerquilts          theme: Our feathered friends

8. Stifflersmom         theme: Vintage hats, purses & shoes

9.Taloola                  theme:   i am thinkin' that i would like a feminine type theme that includes: woman, mothering, sexuality, mother earth, natur-y.

10. Amaryllisroze       theme: Seven Deadly Sins and/or Seven Virtues - and don't worry about picking the same sin or virtue as someone else. It will be cool to see different interpretations of them!

This is going to be an amazing swap! I'm so excited!!!

I entered "in progresses" for everyone today, so if you could just double check to see that it's there, I'd really appreciate it! Cheesy

These will be my first "official" ATC projects...

Can they be more than just one surface? Meaning, I guess...can they be tri-fold or something like that?

I think it would be really fun if they were, it would make for an even wider variety of styles!

I rec'd an accordian fold ATC in the ongoing swap.

I tend to put a hoo-ha or two on my cards, so they are a bit thick. I hope that will work for everyone's book.

I probably won't, but there's certainly nothing wrong with it!  (I'm doing your book, so I'll keep that in mind.)
