I'm working on a police tape scarf for my sister, which is knitting up pretty fast, though I hope it'll block well when I'm done...

And Print O' The Wave stole (eunny jang) for my mom. Yikes! I'm only on the 4th center repeat...

woohoo! i'm glad i found this knitalong. i've been looking for a place to write down a list of gifts i want to knit so that i can actually hold myself to it!

boyfriend: a knit stuffed rabbit (he requested this in the summer and i just never got around to doing it) and a pair of slipper socks (he also requested these for the winter)
brother: finish the blanket i started in the summer and an earflap hat
friend #1: a pair of mittens
friend #2: a knitted bra (we've been joking about this one...but i want to prove to myself that it's possible)
friend #3: cabled scarf and mitten set
family friends: two hat and mitten sets (one for each of their kids - they have one girl that is in 2nd grade and one boy that turned 2 over the summer)

i doubt i'll get this all done before the holidays, but it'll be a goal Smiley

ETA: pattern for the bra i'm going to knit - http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEsummer04/PATT1930.html

Wow. I wish I had found this thread back in September when I started my X-mas gifts. I'm doing 10 scarves plus one for me since I just learned to knit. I'm already finished with 7 of them. Only 4 more to go!

To update my list of xmas knitting.
Mom-The purl scarf for the book last minute knitted gifts (Finished!!!!)
SIL #1- old shale patterned scarf (Finished!!!)
SIL #2- lion suede skinny scarf of my own design (I don't really like her): Finished!!!
Niece #1- Fibonacci scarf and wristwarmers from knitty gritty (Finished!!!)
Niece #2- scarf of my own design (Finished!!!)
DH- Slippers from the knit knack kit (Finished last night), scarf of my own design (think I might frog it Sad ), DS cozy (plan to incorporate the Yoshi chart from the Nintendo Mario Villain scarf around the site somewhere) haven't even casted on yet.
Grandma- Irish Hiking scarf: about 1/3 done (it seems like this one is taking me forever)
Niece #3- I am thinking about doing maybe some finger puppets or a toddler size poncho. I haven't decided.
Nephew- a dragon scarf found the pattern on raverly (I think) I just have to go get the yarn!
Roomate Josh- Jayne Cobb Hat (Finished!!), slippers (haven't started, trying to find a good pattern as he has HUGE feet and is very picky about slipper. ugh) I am also tossing around the idea of doing one of those no sew fleece throws for him in red wing colors.

I feel like I will never be done.... I keep putting everything down to go do something else so I am really only knitting for about a half to one hour a day.

Can I ask where you got the police tape pattern? I have a friend that is a cop, I know he would love one. Thanks!
