So i'm getting married in about 3 months. I have nothing done except maybe where we will have the reception. I need your tips, advice and expertice on what would be good for centerpieces. I was thinking something elegant yet not to flowery, flowers are ok but not too much flowers. I like candles. And if you could guide me on where to go for table clothes would be great, perferably black.

Also im working on something simple for the invitations have any ideas let me know, they all will be greatly appreciated...I'm so excited!

If you don't want ALL flowers(can't blame you) go for more tropical, leafy plants or ferns. Those look nice and rich then vases with black and gold ribbon tied around for center pieces. Maybe buy(or make) simple black table cloths with gold ribbon along the edge or have gold transparent fabric over top. You could also have a set of like 3 candles, each different heights, say all gold colour(or 2 gold, 1 black etc) since the table cloth might be black. The skies the limit hun! Dont forget to post pictures!

If you dont like flowers candles are nice to do.  You can use all your old worn out cds or those free aol ones as a setting for them.  Put the cd label side down put candles over the hole and done.  Better than buying all those tiny mirror tiles you will not use ever again probably.  Floating candles are pretty too, you can even put some gold and black confetti at the bottom of each one.  My friend doesnt do flowers at all.  Each table had a bottle of champagne wrapped in very very pretty bows, then every table got to open theirs and participate in the bridal toast that is a nice touch.  I have seen small cakes at each table in the wedding colorsm or gourds with small wild flower bouquets in them.  I saw once a wrapped box in the wedding colors at each table.  Inside each one was a letter from bride and groom graciously thanking the guests for their attendance on the big day.  You will find something neat I am sure and more to your tastes, look up all types of centerpieces not just weddings  I bet you would find all kinds of different less floral touches.  Congrats!
