I am hooked on making bags and purses now. My husband thinks I am nuts. This is my third ever purse/tote. Its kinda like a cross between a tote and a purse. I managed to make some pockets this time and a pen holder. Its pretty plain on the outside - but I made it for my mom and she likes plain. I had some fun with the inside thought. Wink Its made out of place mats for the outside and part of an old sheet for the inside.

What do you think?

I really have to learn how to put a zipper in next. I think I'm gonna try making a messanger bag with a zipper. Wish me luck.

Nice job!!  I love the closure!!  I am sure you will do just fine with your messanger bag--use the tuts here for putting in zippers--they really are helpful!!

I think it's very nice too. It's really clean looking and sleek too. Love it  Grin

I've used placements for a purse too. Amazing what you can make purses and totes out of. I bought some $0.99 napkins just for making purses this week... I love dollar stores Smiley
