wow. I would loove to see a pattern to those socks....and that purse rocks! (hey that rhymed).

I'm so glad you guys liked the socks...they're modified from Knitty's Pomatomus socks and they were a blast to knit.

Everybody's stuff is so cool!  I love the map bag and the little Reepicheep stuffie!! Smiley

I'm happy that you received Dangerkitty!  I took some photos before I sent so I'll post them here.
1.  Red Mr. Tumnus Scarf
Here is what the yarn originally looked like:
And then after I Kool-Aid dyed it and knitted it up:  (that's my husband modelling)

2.  Pink Jewel the unicorn shirt

3.  Lucy's Hankie

4.  Unicorn bookmark & 5.  White Witch Keychain

6.  Kings and Queens of Narnia Record Clock

(I have some closer shots of this if needed but I think you can see all the detail in this photo.)

I had fun making everything so I hope you like it.  It was especially fun to try KoolAid dying for the first time.  It's so easy!

Great job on the scarf, Jazz! I love the handkerchief, too--and the clock, of course. Although the name of it, Kings and Queens of Narnia record clock, is making me think of a rock band. Maybe because of that band Queens of the Stone Age? I don't know, I'm probably just being weird.

Margiepoo told me this morning that she received, so now I can post pics of the package I sent her:

This is all of it together;

Shrinky dink keychain showing Lucy & Mr. Tumnus walking through the woods, this is a Pauline Baynes illustration which is my fave.

Lucy's healing cordial bottle that Father Christmas gave her:

I used glass faux leading, vintage flatback Czech rhinestones, copper wire, and a vintage button for the cap.

Shadowbox diorama:
 top layer:

 middle layer:

 bottom layer:

 Complete:

framed:

Images were printed on cardstock, watercolored and embellished and spray adhered to foamcore.  You can't see it in the picture but I used glittered paint to make the snow sparkle!
there are some more pics of this on my livejournal.

Since this came out so well, I think I'll make another soon, I've got a book of Tolkien illustrations that would be perfect...

I'm just so glad that Margiepoo liked it... thus far everytime I have swapped I've gotten severe swap anxiety!  and of COURSE I love all the loot that she sent me!!!! mmm magnets...

Your swap anxiety was completely unfounded. That is a FANTASTIC package!  I love that ShrinkyDink keychain (how did you do it?) and that shadowbox is so cool! Now I want to make myself one.

Kit, that shadowbox is breathtaking. it's not just a swap piece, it's art. I'm so glad to see someone take the classic book illustrations and bring them to life so beautifully.

That shadowbox took my breath away! I just can't get over how beautiful a bit of cardstock and watercolors can be! It just takes you away...
